Student attendance won't be an issue. JP will do a special like last year if he needs to. The place will be packed.
Clones offensive scheme is similar to Texas Tech, who dismantled WV. [Note that I said the scheme is the same -- not the weapons!] - Lots of quick outs, screen passes, bubble screens, and delayed hand-offs. WV couldn't stop it.
Sam & the boys on O will do enough; the only question is if the D can stop #1.
Givens gets an interception at a crucial moment --

7-5. That's the # that will matter.
The bookies opening line was correct-- Iowa State 40-WVU 39.
San Diego, here we come.
I think B. Blum said in his article they would not look like they belonged on the same field with good guys. So long as they wear those slippery dress shoes when they play, I like our chances. ISU by a field goal. 34-31
Rewatching the KU game has me more concerned for WVU's offense. What KU was hurting us with is stuff WVU excels at, and KU left quite a bit out there due to their ineptness, not due to our defense. The speed of KU's RBs and QB was an issue, and WVU is faster.
I also think that it being very windy and cold favors WVU. Not only will it subdue the atmosphere of JTS, but it favors WVU on the field. WVU is weak against the pass, but strong against the run...and their offense just ran for 460 yards on OU. Given what our run game is dependent on, I could see us needing to play JB.

My Black Friday prediction: One $99 Keurig and a cashmere sweater at 60% off. Everything else will be sold out before getting into the store.
Oh whoops! I read the Black Friday part only. :jimlad:
and kidding! Like I'd be caught dead Black Friday shopping......go ISU! What time is the game? I'll be at DH's familys' house with both his ISU grad brothers. I bet they'd love to watch the game if it's on. Hopefully not a 11am/noon game! I have to watch my lil old high school play in the state championship game!
3 bratwurst, several bloody marys, and at least a 6 pack.
Sam Richardson's hair will lead us to an OT win...

Bucket of cold water:
WVU - 41
ISU - 38
Will jansen watson play? From broomfield healthy? Will cliff stokes wear his big boy pants?
How will sam R handle all this praise?
Those are pretty important questions I'd like to know before making a prediction. If all goes well, I say we have another game like vs Baylor.
If not, we could be in for a long day. Either way, geno will light us up through the air, but will they score touchdowns or field goals?
34-27 good guys
Is Givens healthy (he will play, but how well)? Will the LB be better in the pass game (missing Knott)? How will Gannon do in his first start at RT?
I think we will see why it is too early say JB is not in contention for the starting spot next year. With the wind, we are going to need his ability to make the reads in the run game.
