I think ISU-wvu has about the same combined win total as the nationally televised iowa-Nebraska game beforehand...why is that game nationally televised?

this game time was set when the game was moved to Black Friday. At that point in time WVU was 8th in the polls. T me the match up is better than the other options. Seriously who wants to see thE Hoks and Fhuskers battle it out for eternal gayness and that wonderful Hy-Vee trophy....

As a fan I am VERY excited to be at this game. had it circled all year long and already being bowl eligible I expect a fantastic, loud atmosphere!

Just booked my plane tickets - Denver to Omaha, rent a car and get to the game at 2:30.

holiday bowl would be amazing, because San Diego meets my 350 mile radius criteria for side trip to vegas.

on a side note, phoenix meets that criteria also.

Because they are playing on Friday. There are only 14 games scheduled on Friday some of which include Syracuse v. Temple, Ball State v. Miami (OH), N. Illinois v. Eastern Michigan, Marshall v. Eastern Carolina, Buffalo v. Bowling Green, and Central Michigan v. UMass. Add in the facts that only 5 ranked teams play and ISU/WV is the only Big 12 game and you've got the recipe for a good TV slot for ISU.
