After watching Tech vs. Kansas and Oklahoma State it appears they don't either.

    This one is easy.

2010 Texas Bowl (BAYLOR vs. Illinois) Attendance 68,211
    2005
    Houston Bowl (
IOWA STATE vs. TCU) Attendance 37,286

Why do so many people think this is about who won head-to-head or who finishes higher in the standings? It is not.

We played in the 2005 Houston Bowl (Dec. 31, 2005)
Baylor has not, and will never travel better than Iowa State to any bowl game.
Also, UTSA, is not bowl eligible, as 4 of their wins have come against FCS teams.

You must of missed the aerial shots of the Baylor game last night if you think Baylor gives a **** about their football team right now. Furthermore, look at ISU's average attendance this season and compare it to 2005.

Yes, I do. Not what I want to happen, but I don't see EMAW getting up off the mat after last night - even with a week in between.

Yeah, 2005 not 2004 ... regardless, that was the attendance IN HOUSTON

Y'all can think what you want and I respect your opinion, but if Baylor and Iowa State are both 6-6, we ain't going to Houston if the Bears are available. Sorry man.

It was their first bowl in 16 years also, I don't know how they'd do in it this year, just sayin.
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

I don't disagree that a Texas team would get taken over ISU, but TCU would get chosen before Baylor.

I think that its NYC or at large for ISU simply because of the texas bowls wanting texas teams

Get your passports refreshed in case they secede before the bowl games. ;)

Unless the Big 12 only gets one team in the BCS (unlikely) and has nine bowl-eligible teams (possible but not certain) there is no possible way we are an at-large selection.
