He does have a point. Kansas' defense is ranked 117 in yard/play, 109 in passer rating, 101 in yards/pass, 116 in yards/rush, 121 in sacks/game, and 104 in points/game. That was a REALLY bad defense he went against.

However, I agree that even taking all that into account, he certainly appears to be clearly better than Jantz or Barnett. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does the next couple of games.

Bubba from Ames called in though, I think that's been a pretty long streak.

I liked the Huskers fan that was mad about the Cooter Ray segments. Those are classics and funny every time.

I was winterizing the garage Saturday and tuned in 600AM -WMT right after the game. --the 1/2 hr Soundoff immediately after Dolph goes off the air

(before the local CR area Soundoff)

The goofballs started calling in, with one guy bemoaning the present Iowa defense, missing the past coach, and stated (paraphrasing):

"Coach (Norm) Parker is the greatest defensive coach in the history of the game"

You can't make this stuff up. Of course, 'crickets chirping' momentarily from the radio guy, and he moved on to the next caller without comment

And you wonder why that fanbase is so f-ing nutty

Fair enough. Except we didn't just beat them- Sam Richardson ***** slapped the same defense that took TCU, TX, & TTU down to the wire. On their turf. On senior night. Good reason to be excited IMO.
