    Did you hear that Hawkeye D-B on Sound-Off? (Lol)

    A warning to all Iowa State fans.
    "Step down off your soapbox Cyclone fans about Richardson... It's only Kansas you beat."
    (or something to that effect) Interesting, this coming from a fan who's team fought tooth and nail to defeat N. Illinois by 1, and a classic loss to C. Michigan the following week...

    Probably the same moronic hok who got on Sound Off after we beat them in I.C. and smugly told Cyclones not to expect anything more than a cold weather bowl (not an impossibility, drat!) while he and his fellow hoks basked in the warm sun on the beach of yet another hok January bowl (an that IS an impossibility.).

    First they have to worry about CPR and the progress he's making every year with Cyclone program. Now they know they have to worry about Sammy 'Baugh' Richardson for the next three years.

    Hawk fans see the glory days slipping away. Could this be the first year of returning to their other 'glory' years when they had losing seasons for 20 consective years???????

    It doesn't seem that long ago that Iowa had their very own redshirt freshman who had a stunning debut that seemed to suggest many great things for the future.

    ISU fans have reason to be excited. After the JVB situation though I think I'll wait until opposing teams have had a chance to watch film on him and gameplan against him.

    JVB's stats from last year: 3022 yds, 58.7% completion, 25/7 TD/INT, 138.4 QBR. I'd take that year out of a QB with a smile on my face.

    Don't be too hard on the kid, he lost his biggest weapon and has yet to understand the finer points of the horizontal passing attack.

    Fair enough. Except we didn't just beat them- Sam Richardson ***** slapped the same defense that took TCU, TX, & TTU down to the wire. On their turf. On senior night. Good reason to be excited IMO.

    Agreed. Prior to Saturday night the most points KU had given up at home was 25 to Rice and that includes home games against, TX, TCU, and OSU. ISU doubled that number.
