The bonus of what's happened recently is that there is basically no chance ISU goes there.

Iowa State will either go to the Heart of Dallas Bowl, or a non-Big 12 bowl (lots of options, but I think Military Bowl is at the top of that list).

All I can do is shake my head at any Big 12 bowl eligible team playing the 5th selection from Conference USA.

I don't think they should be reduced really. Computers have FSU at 17 and that is probably off....I know they are fading now, but still.

Why do they deserve to be higher? They play in an awful conference, havent really beaten anyone of note because of that and weak noncon scheduling, and they lost to sub top 50 NC State. Florida wouldve given them a bump up, but theyve done nothing at all to say they should be any higher at the moment.

True, but I dont think ANY team in the Big 12 gets excited about going to play in NYC in late December. Certainly not a team from Texas

Considering Nebraska is 12 and Texas is 14, I submit they should be at least 11.

Texas is only as high as they are because they "play in a tough conference" but conveniently ignoring they've failed every real test they've had with flying colors.

Nebraska "plays in a bad conference" and was blown out by the best team they played.

if OU wins then KSU needs to beat Texas. That would ensure us ISU at worst of going to the HOD bowl.
