Boise plays here in Reno (Univ of Nevada) tommorow. May be the most miserable game to go to ever. However most of the NV players have thrown in the towel knowin they're going to the New Mexico Bowl and won't be playing for much tommorow.

Oh the guys during the Kent St. vs NIU game said Boise had the week off.

Definitely want FSU, Oregon St, and Nebraska to take care of business as well so they don't fall below NIU.

Man, UCF really needs to win tomorrow to keep Liberty Bowl as an option... just in case OU or KSU lose.

If Liberty Bowl is out and we have to go at-large, Independence Bowl in Shreveport might be the only thing left. I wonder if we would consider accepting a rematch with Tulsa in the Liberty Bowl over going to the Independence.

BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham on Jan 5 may also be available; however, I think Pitt would have to lose today. That would be probably be a matchup with Ole Miss or Miss St.

Brad Edwards said on ESPN that he thinks UCLA looked good enough tonight to stay ahead of NIU, and that NIU would probably finish 17th. NIU would need FSU to lose to Georgia Tech to get to 16.

Good hope that is how it ends up.

Anybody see Herbstreit on Gameday this morning? He said all you had to do was watch some of the game last night to see that neither NIU or Kent St. belongs in the BCS. I just don't see it either, especially as well as UCLA played.

Computer 1/3 is easier to predict. They were 23rd in computer average, they'll probably bump to 21 computer average from the win. I think they need to pull 15th or better in both human polls to end #16. They were 18.5 in the last human poll average, four spots is a huge leap in voter poll for beating a team ranked equal to you in the human poll average.

I've been a fan of the western BCS busters outside of Hawaii, but Kent State and NIU don't pass the eye test that BSU, TCU and Utah did in their days. Iowa did the BCS bowls a huge favor early in the season.

I'm rooting for Oklahoma State today to increase ISU's odds to the Dallas bowl in case K-State or OU loses. If ISU were fall to an at-large, its looking more and more like Shreveport as time goes on...

Come on Central Florida, I want the Liberty bowl to be in play just in case...

I could very EASILY see both OU and KSU losing. OU always seems to under achieve in big games, and KSU might just have the life taken out of them.
