I would say I'm pretty consistent actually though. NIU doesn't deserve a BCS bowl, and we don't really deserve a Jan 1 bowl in Dallas either. But I'm sure NIU would take a BCS bowl invite, just as we would be thrilled to take a Dallas bowl invite I'm sure.

But let's get real here, what would NIU's record be if they played OU's schedule? They'd be lucky to be .500 IMO.

Why exactly does Iowa State not deserve to be there? It's a bowl game slotted for the 8th place team in the Big 12...

BCS rankings come out on Sunday Night. And the Bowl Selection show is tonight.

And we're in 9th place in the Big 12.

I just mean that I don't think any .500 teams should qualify for bowls. It's stupid. 70 teams make bowls out of 120 teams total. You don't even have to be better than half the schools in the country to go to a bowl. Talk about "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.

So... all I'm saying is... we should just be thrilled no matter what bowl we go to with the season we had. Yes, we did some good things this year, but we still finished 9th out of 10 teams. Nothing to brag about. So if we get to play on Jan 1 in Dallas, we should be MORE than happy. That's all.
