When facing NIU's level competition, ISU won all of its games too in more dominating fashion, including the game NIU lost...except we won it on the road.

I was a big proponent of BSU, Utah and even TCU getting even better bowls than they got in their better years, but this NIU team has done nothing at all to make them BCS worthy. Those Utah, BSU and TCU teams were all ranked higher by computers than the human voters had them, this NIU team is ranked lower. There's a reason, they didn't play anybody, they didn't win impressively, and they have a loss to a bad team at a neutral site.

Who is their next best choice? no one will remember we even played, Iowa State fans would show up. Just making the point that if mid major vs mid major is their choice, they might prefer a big 12 team that travels. It's all about the money and hard to believe the money is better with their next choice.
