23 commits by my count so far
How many more schollies do we have to give out this year? And what would everyone like to see us do with those schollies?
I would like to see possibly a JUCO LB if possible, and Campos of course. Other than that, I'm not sure what else? With Schaeffer starting at safety right now, is this an area of need too?

We're right around the 85 limit with 23 commits.

Re: 23 commits by my count so far
From what I have heard Charlie Rogers doesn't like the redshirt strategy employed by the coaches and is planning on leaving after this year so that opens up a scholly. Just what I heard from someone who went to highschool with him and seems to be in line with what the signs have been pointing towards. Hope it isn't true. Just consider this my opinion. You never know when kids can change their minds.
"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

It'd be dumb for him to leave now. He'd either have to sit out another year or transfer to a FCS school.

You never know when kids can change their minds. I don't understand some of these kids' thinking? Did he really think he was going to come in and start right away in year one? That wasn't going to happen. So if you're not going to see the field, you would think you would want to be RS so you're not wasting a year of your eligibility to sit on the bench all year?
He'd be dumb to transfer now IMO. Rogers might be able to give us minutes at safety next year if Schaeffer is the best we have right now back there? But, if he's not "ALL IN", then get the heck out IMO.

I forgot about JUCO, but yes, hopefully they can get him to stay. I think he could be a solid player for us in the future.

Your count is wrong.
Glenn is a greyshirt, so that brings it back to 22. Some of these guys will early enroll and count towards the 2012 class which had the Pavlenko defection and I'm sure some more attrition before too long.

That and just look at Eastern Iowa U to see what injuries can do to a runningback depth.
