What the head to head record for ISU-KSU again?
I'd keep your mouth shut.

I will assume for a moment you aren't trying to be a condescending douchenozzle. The poster was giving you crap because you posted this in the ISU Football forum instead of the General College Sports forum. There is a running gag with a poster that has taken on the role of forum police which is where the comment comes from. Now, if you'll excuse me I will return to assuming you get something out of looking down your nose at little old ISU

You shouldn't worry about Mark Stoops or us not caring about general college football. You should be more worried about finding Willie's body before the Fiesta Bowl.

You're missing the point tmcats.....read the post below for clarification. It was a joke. You may have over-reacted. EMAW!!!!!

Back on topic now...
Interesting hire for them and interesting choice for Mr. Stoops. Remember when the rumor was on here that we were going to hire him instead of Rhoads? Good times. I remember we were all SO SURE it was going to be Gary Patterson for awhile, too, until I woke up one morning and it was all "Paul who?" on the Cyclones webpage.
UK has to try something new, not some retread from somewhere else in the SEC (only with fewer resources this time), so I think this is the best they can hope for. I don't think it'll work, of course, but at least they're striking out and not going for TT or Chizik or some nonsense like that.

If this is a serious attempt to understand the context of his post, I'm not surprised where a Kansas State diploma sits in the larger order of things.

It was hard to keep up, but was it not Mike Stoops back then?

It was Mike Stoops, because Arizona fans kept stopping by CF to tell Iowa State to please take him off their hands.
Re: stoops to kentucky ...
I'm trying to write a poem to commemorate this occasion but I can't seem to come up with anything that rhymes with Stoops. Any help?
Re: stoops to kentucky ...
Their fans seemed to have their sights set pretty high during the search for a new coach. I doubt this makes much of a splash for them.
