Re: Louisville to ACC
So at 9:42 you posted in the new mega-thread discussing this, and at 9:43, you thought you should start a new thread about it?

Re: Louisville to ACC
This may be significant enough to merit its own thread for a while. I wouldn't have known otherwise, at least.

Re: Louisville to ACC
Yes, I did, good work.
I figured not everybody lives on the expansion thread. If you don't want to read about it in both then stick with the expansion thread.

I'm sure Rick "The 10 second Hero" Pitino is quite pleased.

Big 12 is getting kicked down the road

Re: Louisville to ACC
It's disappointing in the sense that I liked Louisville as somewhat region appropriate target if we were going to expand. However, I don't think this is a sign of the Big 12 inevitably getting left behind, which many will take it as.

The Big12 is arguably second best football conference and has a pretty good payout for TV money. We are also relatively stable due to the GOR.
No, we aren't grabbing teams left and right like the B1G but I'm not sure if we want to.

All this time I thought it was good business to not water down your product and reduce revenue... Not to mention a school whose fan base would be the 2nd smallest in the Big 12.

Re: Louisville to ACC
I like the current lineup. It gives each team a ton of money. However, if we could add two teams that could make the same money. It would be great. That would be a solid conferance. I would not want to add anyone other than Florida State or Clemson. I would not want a small school like Boise State. Not as though that would happen.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
