Didn't realize TE Bibbs took an official to Oklahoma last weekend.

Trouble. I remember when dmac was recruiting a highly touted center and all but had him locked up. then oklahoma offered and he was gone just like that. i think his name was cooper.

OU has offered. if he is going to switch i hope he just does it so we can go after someone else and not get ****ed at the last minute. listed as a "soft verbal" now. fingers crossed.

How often does OU actually use thier tight end? Brun was one of the major weapons for us this year. So I guess the question is does he want to run routes, or catch passes?

How many guys end up like Gresham, though? Their starting TE this year has 3 receptions for 45yds.

We have a good track record with TEs(Trent Smith,Gresham,Joe John Finley,Hanna) but we've been bad at the position the last two years. Stoops likes to use TE when they have the ability

Losing Bibbs would hurt pretty bad, IMO. Staff doesn't seem to be too confident in Pierce and after him we would then be relying on walk-ons until Leslie steps up. Add that to the loss of JQ Daniels, who some theorized, could have "grown" into a TE.

Stick with the good guys, Bibbs. You will be a huge weapon in our offense!

Is it a fact that Daniels is gone? Or is it still speculation?

Everyone panicing beforehand. If this was a lock for him to go to OU, it would be a lock that Campos comes here. All speculation at this point. Just checking things out, you never know. He may just want to check it out so there are no regrets down the line.
