ISU Bowl Game Fun Facts

The Cyclones have worn cardinal jerseys in 9 of 11 previous bowl games, the only games where Iowa State has worn white were the 1977 Peach Bowl and the 2002 Humanitarian Bowl.

3 of the 11 Iowa State bowl games have been decided by one point ... ISU lost to both Georgia Tech (31-30) and Alabama (14-13), Cyclones defeated Minnesota 14-13.

The most points given up by the Cyclones in a bowl game was 34 at Boise State in the 2002 Humanitarian Bowl.

The Cyclones are 2-2 in the Mountain time zone, 1-4 in the Central time zone, 0-2 in the Eastern time zone, and have never played a bowl game in the Pacific time zone.

Agree w/ that, but also that 02 Humanitarian bowl. What a crock of **** that was. Playing Boise St in Boise, cold n snowy, and that dam blue field!
