    Me and some friends were driving down to NOLA for Mardis Gras in college and we needed more booze (I know bad idea) we got lost in West Memphis. That is not a place to get lost in around midnight. We made it out alright but whoa not a place to end up lost in...

    Yeah, its safe...don't go over to West Memphis, but downtown is as safe as anywhere you are going to go.

    Recommendations to eat Centrals BBQ, Corkys and there is a Coyote Ugly bar that is off the wall. Just a great town to go to and I can't imagine what it's like on New Year's Eve. It's right there with the French quarter.

    We just booked our room at Best Western Galleria for ~$90/night. Ranked high on Trip Advisor - - life is too short for ****tacular hotels).
