No, no, no.... you are looking at this all wrong. Arkansas State is a high school and as you can see the side that is embarrassingly empty is obviously the visitors side.

What does not make sense is how they view a 6-6 Big 12 team. Unfortunately, this is widespread. The Big 12 receives the least equitable amount of respect in regards to performance. It has, and will be, a problem for this conference.

The problem is we beat each other up if only we dont have teams like ISU or baylor improving in our conference and screwing it up for OU and Texas

So our problem is we all dont suck... Besides Kansas... they get basketball

I didn't have time or patience to read a whole thread about Arkansas State. Are they more ****** about ISU getting the Liberty Bowl slot or about Malzahn going to Auburn after only 1 season there?

The real problem is the large majority of people will only look at the record next to a schools name, and not look at the story behind that record.
That's just how life works, no one will make the effort if the easy answer is right there. 6-6 is 6-6 is 6-6 regardless of who you play.
Meanwhile, a 12-1 NIU team makes it into the BCS and gets votes because, at the end of the day, they have more W's than L's and that's all that will ever matter to some voters.

I've gone on their boards and I think they are more upset about Malzahn. They're going to view him the same way we did chizik

I don't think that even Malzahn thought that Chiz would flame out at Auburn this quick.

Living in Arkansas, I thought I'd pass this little update along. All the Arkansas State fans were super upset they got passed over by ISU for the Liberty bowl. Remember all those fans on the Liberty bowl facebook page claiming they'd bring 30k fans to Memphis?

Well...they're almost up to 4,000 tickets for their bowl game in Mobile.

Did Arkansas State really have a chance at the Liberty Bowl though? It sure sounded like if we got a Big 12 bowl, the Liberty Bowl was going to take Louisiana Tech.
