Pollard's comment that our fans travelling will help secure a future trip to the Alamo Bowl is downright silly and borderline disingenuous to ISU fans. ISU winning more than 6 games a season is what will get us to the Alamo Bowl.
And if ISU is in a group of say 3 teams at 8-4 a reputation for traveling well makes a difference, thus his commentQuote:

I agree with this. If the traveling reputation were in play, then Dallas would have selected us over OSU. Just hyping the bowl to try and get some solid sales. At the end of the day the team's record is what will dictate our bowl selection primarily.Quote:

BS - OSU got absolutely hosed, and it's because they don't travel well. OSU was 4th place in the conference, above others w/ their overall record due to wins in-conference and loss to Arizona, yet sent to the last-place conference affiliated bowl. No way should Tech or Baylor or TCU have EVER been placed ahead of OSU.Quote:
