4 enrolled early (Wimbley, Bibbs, Curtis & Meeks)
Estime has tweeted that he is not signing on Feb.6. Sounds like academics/test scores; also indicates that he is working with a tutor. May be the slot KJ Young fills?
Does anyone know if Quinton Pompey made the grades? Perhaps Regie Meant is signed for another DL. Last year, there were 18 DE/DT on scholarship. 16 for 2013 at this point with Pompey.
I hope all of the commits plus Meant and Young make it to Ames. Yes, I know the math doesn't work from what I just typed but the FB staff knows more than what has been announced. That should be "the short answer as far as you know." They could still wind up signing 25 on Signing Day.
There's always something else in the cards--including oversigning guys who will end up not qualifying.

Re: Iowa State's Class of 2013
Meant at 6'5"/271 over Suttles at 6'5"/240 would on paper be a good swap. Perhaps Ryan Glenn signs for 2013 if a slot opens up. All indications are the staff is going after a DE & WR. Will they hold on to the DB?

C. Darien Williston, DE, Bushnell, (Fla.) South Sumter Well...you can go ahead and scratch off Jalen Barnes. We've got some 2013 recruits to find. Like i said before, hopefully a big, long DE and another WR. Honestly wouldn't mind another DB though, or possibly another LB. Losing Barnes, Estime, and Suttles all hurt. I liked them as signees.

I completely agree with you. And I would venture to guess that is how its been laid out to him by the ISU coaching staff. If there is a spot available come signing day, and he wants to come, hold no grudges and take him....but, certainly start looking elsewhere, which I'm sure is already underway.
