Would you rather....
Beat Tulsa this year in the Liberty Bowl or next year during the regular season? It is a would you rather question meaning you can't choose both!
Personally, I would rather beat them next year during the regular season IF I had to choose.

Win in the Bowl game, then buy out the next years game and play someone else at home.

Re: Would you rather....
If I had to choose only one I would want ISU to win the bowl game because this is one of my favorite senior classes we've had and want to see them go out a winner.

Hello? If we can beat them in both, we can choose both. I pick both. Any other answer is irrelevant. So there! "Hey! I'm building something here!"

Bowl Game. We need 7-6. We need a winning season. NNEEEEDDD IIITTTTT!
“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -
Re: Would you rather....
Winning a bowl game boosts your morale so much in the offseason, I would win bowl game

Re: Would you rather....
I would take the win next season as this season is not going to be viewed all that differently either way. This season will be eventually viewed as a stepping stone to our eventual goals. Next year has a chance to meet those goals.

"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

Re: Would you rather....
Anything less than winning both would be a major dissapointment

I choose the baby, no wait, the pet. I've had enough of situational ethics for today.
No matter what, I could NEVER cheer for Dirt and Urine. -

Next year's game, no doubt.

Re: Would you rather....
I'd rather lose them both. Losing builds character.
The potential for breaking that losing streak would give us something to look forward to.

Re: Would you rather....
Why don't we have both?
If we had to chose, it has to be next year. This season is what it is. Next year is another shot at getting over 6 wins in the regular season and maybe getting to 8 or 9 with a bowl win. Losing to Tulsa next year would really hurt if we want to finally get past 6 wins.
But I'm tempted to say this year, just because it would suck to drive all the way down to Memphis to see us lose.
