They were only paying Beilama 2.5 Million a year. Would they really pay Rhoads more than that?
Now the facilities, tradition, and assistants pay may be a different matter.

BB was making 2.5 after 2 Rose Bowls- I do not see them handing out close to 4 for CPR and ISU could probably go up to somewhere between 2-2.5.
The concern I have for CPR going to Wisconsin is lower than the concern KSU fans have for Bill not making it to another birthday. Also, if you look at Barry's comments, Bill fits what he is looking for. Would KSU change the name of the stadium?

How do you even know there is any push by Wisconsin at all?

The only people that should be worried about Paul Rhoads is KSU. You're in the cross hairs.

It's not about what Barry wants, Bud. Paul isn't going to be anybody's do-boy even for double the salary.

Rhoads is not going to Wisconsin. He's likely not going to leave for another school at all.

Re: ***Official Worry about Rhoads Leaving Thread***
I heard that Wisconsin is going after Jamie Pollard, Christie Johnson-Lynch, and Coach Paul Rhoads for 2x salary with cheese and sausage options.
And Bruce Vandevelde is coming back as AD.

Re: ***Official Worry about Rhoads Leaving Thread***
Not to fan the flame, but, there is definitely interest....there's only three coaches that this Wisky insider has identified and the way that he describes the direction that Alvarez is going actually points at a guy like Rhoads that could fit.
Secondly, any way that Rhoads wants to get to a conference that would not require him to recruit top 10 talent on defense to defend Okie St, Okie, Texas etc etc and get them to come to Ames instead of Wisky?
Guys no need to rag on it, i would hate to see this happen, but, would understand it if he did choose to make the jump. Badger Breakdown: Paul Rhoads - Bucky's 5th Quarter -

Man I hate this time of year. People rag on Iowa State in pretty much every facet of the school - city, academics, atmosphere, athletics, etc. - to justify Rhoads leaving. "ISU sucks, so it's a no-brainer that he'll come here." People like Andrew Rosin are total asshats who have never set foot in Ames, IA.

ISU is small potatoes in comparison to Wisconsin, just from a realist standpoint.
