One of the best looking women I have ever seen waited on us at the flying saucer. Yes she got a big tip. Beal Street is cool, go to the pep rally, parade, etc.

How about authentic blues places? For instance, does anybody know if the B.B. King's is an authentic old place? Or just a remake like the one on International Drive in Orlando?

The B.B. King's website refers to Memphis as its "original." New Year's Eve features the King Beez band (blues, R&B, which sounds great (The King Beez - Blues Band and R&B Band - Memphis, TN), the Will Tucker band which is a young local prodigy who opens for B.B. King, and the B.B. King All-stars. And it is on Beale Street. Sounds like a place I will have to visit.

When i went to Tempe a few years back I seem to remember CF set up a party at a bar the night before the pep rally which was pretty cool. It was at a piano bar and every third song it seemed like was the ISU fight song. Since they are bringing a ton of people down for this game I assume they will do something like that again. the pep rally was awesome and the game was even better. After that stick around for NYE.
