Snyder and Alvarez could sit on the porch together, drinking win coolers. Like Bartles and James.

That might work if they were flying to Lawrence to make a play for Charlie Weis

Little known fact, Kansas State is nicknamed the name "Wildcats" because in his youth, Bill Snyder was the first to discover cats.

Wonder if BB was venturing out a bit on his own early in the season. When it didn't work so well, he may have had to fire somebody or be fired himself. Sounds like there is a short leash at UW-M.

but the problem is most KSU students aren't familiar with that many letters.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
