Lanning is 240 pounds, Rivals still has him at 200. He is huge

Re: 2013 Football Recruiting Class - By State, By Size
According to his twitter, Jalen Barnes tore his labrum. Damn. Hopefully he will heal quickly. That's a bunch of guys in the class coming off of significant injuries.

Trying to figure out where the remaining 3 scholarships are going to be coming from?
We currently have filled our 85 scholarship limit with the team on the field. 21 seniors leaving, and the LB Pavlenko make 22 scholarships available for this incoming class, yet we have 25 verbals.
Any accountants out there that know how to do funny math to make it work? I'm unfortunately an engineer and don't have the "creativity" of our accountant friends out there.

Ok, I know the 3 letter curse word is ***.
And there are plenty of 4 letter ones like **** or ****.
I have no idea what the 2 letter curse word is though.

I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -

Daniels is no longer on the roster so we have his spot to fill. Glenn is a grey shirt from what I have heard so he won't count until next year, same as Starcevich. I'm sure the coaches are counting on at least 1 or 2 guys not coming back next year. It sucks, but happens every year. I doubt there will be a problem finding scholly's for everyone they will sign in Feb.

Oh, and the OP curses a LOT, like a frickin sailor.
Maybe the 2 letter curse words are initals, like GD, or DB...

When you create a new thread you have the ability to create tables. That's the only way I've been able to organize columns and rows in a readable format.

Re: 2013 Football Recruiting Class - By State, By Size
I find this breakdown interesting as I've always thought they've overplayed the role of Texas recruiting and the necessity of playing as many games as possible there in order for us to get the better recruits from the state. Heck, we've got more recruits from Florida in this class than Texas and we don't play a single game there. One could even argue some of our best recruits have come from Florida. I'm not saying that the playing games in Texas factor isn't a factor at all, I'm just saying that I think it is overused and overrated. I also think that when you are at ISU's recruiting level (going after mostly 3 and 2 star guys), the factor may be even less at play as it is difficult recruiting anywhere you go regardless. Maybe its more of a factor too for programs like Nebraska who are hopeful of competing for the 4 star level guys with the likes of the actual Texas schools and that is the breaking factor. I'm not positive my theory on us vs Nebraska with Texas recruits is correct, but I am pretty confident in my theory of playing in Texas being an overrated factor with being able to recruit there.

I've heard that but went with Rivals information.

What and where is a labrum?
> forgot Kyle Starcevich. <
His status has been discussed, I know. Last I heard he is a recruited walk-on. Is this not correct?

Ahhh. Thank you for the information. I didn't pay enough attention, then, when I created the post.

I do curse too freely; I'm workin' on dialing it down. ;-)

so apparently I live under a rock. Why is Daniels not on the roster anymore? and did Pavlenko not sign an LOI with ISU?
