Re: Beale Street question
I did see some where that under 21 is not allowed after 11, so my guess is you can get in and explore a bit before that, likely not bars after 9 unless you have a good fake.

Re: Beale Street question
I asked the following question to the Beale Street Chamber of Commerse and got this response:
Could you tell me if Beale street is open to adults under the age of 21 during the New Year's Eve party? Minors are welcome on The Street until 11:00 when accompanied by a parent or guardian. A minor who would appear to be over 21 and who might gain access to the area would need to abide to the letter of the law regarding alcohol purchase and consumption. -
Re: Beale Street question
I know for the Power and Light District down in KC that you have to be 21+ to be allowed in after 11 PM. Might be the same for down in Memphis.

Thanks for sharing with everyone.

Re: Beale Street question
So if my wife, daughter and I are on Beale Street just hanging out taking in the sites before 11 are the cops going to kick us out of the street once it's 11?
My plan is to get us on the street before 11 and then blend in.

Re: Beale Street question
I don't remember I was hammered drunk, Beale Street sorta sucks on NYE anyway, way over crowded and wannabe thugs everywhere. I recommend doing Beale Street on the 30th because thats when its mostly just fans of the schools and not locals and then finding something else to do on the 31st.

Do they have anything like the Times Square ball drop at midnight?
