Anybody watch the Bowl Mania Special?
Saw it was on last night. Believe they went thru all the bowls, and picked winners and confidence points. Just curious how they picked ISU and other Big 12 games. Thanks.

They pick us at 5. Which is 5th worst confidence.

Re: Anybody watch the Bowl Mania Special?
They had ISU winning but they were not confidant about it. For all 35 bowls, ISU was the 5th most up-for-grabs game meaning they weren't really confidant one way or the other. For example, they are sure OK State is a lock over Purdue and Tx Tech a lock over Minnesota.
They said Tulsa has been riding high going in and ISU has lost 4 out of 5, but they said "Somebody somewhere knows something about Iowa State so we gotta have them winning." That was it.

Re: Anybody watch the Bowl Mania Special?
I watched it, and not once did they mention that Iowa State had already beaten Tulsa this year. Kind of seems like an important plot point wouldn't you think?? McShay (I think) was the guy at the board and he made it sound like he was picking Iowa State as an upset winner.

McShay is a tool, this one of our favorite clips of him during the 2010 Bowl Mania show where he picks Hawaii as his lock stock pick, Tulsa would go on to win the Bowl 62-35.

It is much better than picking us to lose!
