It'll probably be tough but you might be able to find a room left from someone cancelling their reservations. Also if you look on the out-skirts you would have better luck. When we booked ours in downtown Memphis near Beal, it was hard to find much and that was like 4 days after the bowl announcement...
There are still rooms available at a couple of Marriott properties downtown Fri-Mon
I just checked Marriott and saw some rooms available. A lot also has to do with your budget. Are you willing to spend $150 - $250 a night or are you looking for something less expensive?
Shockingly the cheapskate in me hasn't kicked in to get me to cancel my Marriott reservations and go for a Super 8 or something in Mississippi.
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.
There will probably be some rooms available depending on how much you want to spend. When I looked it was pretty hard to find rooms available that had 2 beds though. If it is just you and your wife it will probably be easier.
Anybody know of a cheap place just for Saturday night? Ours on Beale st is reserved for Sunday and Monday but were going a day early because we can only get stufent tickets from 10-3 on Sunday.
where do we get student tickets?
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
