Blankenship with a couple of TDs

Former Cyclone Beau Blankenship has a couple of TD runs in the Independence Bowl.

Correction, 3 TD's. He's killing me in my bowl picks.:mad:

Surprised you picked against Ohio. They are a very solid team.

These MAC vs Sunbelt bowls are hard to pick because both teams suck.

Still can't believe Nebraska fired frank. Good to see beau is tearing it up....over 1500 yards this year.

Ohio was 7 point dogs in this game. By far the most shocking line of the bowl season. I took Ohio, but backed off on the confidence points because they were not favored.

I was a little surprised Solich didn't get a new job this season with all the openings. I know he has some age, but hes a good coach.

Wow, didn't realize that was the line. Ohio was being talked about as a BCS buster early in the season.

Solid coach but still hasn't had a breakthrough season, some very respectable seasons to say the least. You don't see Ohio st playing them, ask penn st how that went.

Evidently Frank had some non-football related problems that did not put him in the most favorable light.

When he was fired, NU fans were all saying it was because he couldn't recruit. They all favored him getting fired at the time. I was floored. They deserved every second of the Billy Callahan years

Callahan could recruit, but he could not translate play tapes into winning on the field.

They also deserved Josh Freeman's surprise decommitment. His commitment to Kansas State was just icing on that cake. That was a sweet time to live in Nebraska, if ever there is a sweet time to live in Nebraska.

I lived in Nebraska from 90-96, 99% of the state wanted to kick Tom Osborne out to the curb just before their dominant stretch. "Fire Osborne" should be written on the Nebraska state flag because it's all you could hear for the first few years I lived there.
