Hopefully this guy doesn't get paid for this
He picks Tulsa over ISU which is fine. However, he states that Sam Richardson didn't attempt a pass in ISU's win over Kansas. Made me laugh.

Tulsa, Iowa State report for Liberty Bowl » The Commercial Appeal
Here's another one - 6 hour drive to Memphis?
As champion of Conference USA, Tulsa is the designated home team for Monday's 54th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
But if ticket sales are any indication, Iowa State, a six-hour drive from Memphis, is about to paint the town cardinal and gold. Cyclones fans bought 13,000 tickets before Christmas and that number could rise to 15,000 by game time

The stellar writing made me curious. Apparently, this is a Memphis newspaper owned by Scripps Interactive Media. That made be wonder whether this was some sort of wiki type newspaper. Turns out it probably isn't, but the wiki stuff wasn't totally clear. Scripps Networks Interactive - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia E. W. Scripps Company - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Their parent company owns HGTV, Food Network, and the DIY Network. That was interesting.

I believe the OP is talking about this artical and if he is then reading comprehension fail... Liberty Bowl Tulsa Golden Hurricane Vs. Iowa State Cyclones: 12/31/12 Ryan's Free College Football Pick Against the Spread » Sports Chat Place
The guy says SR didn't attempt a pass UNTIL the Kansas game which is correct.
