A. I saw a car with personal Nebraska Plates that said IAHWKS?
B. We Stopped at Marlowe's BBQ near Graceland and asked who the guy on TV was "Elvis clips were playing" Lady about crapped.
C. Some Wasted guy at the game kept calling me a Corncob.
Anyone notice how many ambulance chasing attorney firm advertisements there were down there? TV ads, billboards, bus stop signs. It was unreal. Glad I don't live in a big city with all that nonsense.
every single local we spoke to was amazed at how many ISU fans were there. and they all were extremely grateful that we were spending money in their town.
I was let down that Ruby, the queen of Beale Street wasn't an honorary captain. Saw her doing a tv spot for a local law office and realized what a celebrity she really is.
I would say that Iowa State greatly outnumbered Tulsa.
