Don't get me wrong, I love the Cyclones. I have still yet to actually witness them win a game in any sport. This game was the lowet of the low. Terrible effort. Terrible coaching. Just awful. Nichollls State put up more yardage against Tulsa. How pathetic. CPR should donate his salary back to the University.

Dropped tons of money for alcohol,gas,food, and casino. Watched my team disappoint. But I would still do it all over again. The fans are amazing and that first quarter may have been the funniest quarter of football all year.

Memphis is a great town and I will continue to support the clones thru thick and thin.

If the game is all that matters to you, then sure i could understand not wanting to have taken the trip. That was an awful game. However, for most people, the people who also didnt seem to care that it was a rematch game, the game itself is but 3 hours of a trip somewhere. Memphis has been a damn nice city. Short trip, nice town. The whole city being iowa state has been awesome, and all the bars i went to were very pro-ISU, and the food has been very solid.

It is what it is. I didn't go, and we lost. I don't feel so bad for not going. Had we won, I'd be kicking myself for not being able to attend the celebration on Beale street afterwards.

Yeah I watched one of the crappiest games ever. However did you enjoy Rendezvous with all ISU fans? Did you sing the fight song and chant Cyclone Power in Rendezvous or on Beale Street? Did you enjoy seeing the Peabody and the rest of Memphis filled with cardinal and gold? Did you enjoy your NYE on Beale Street?

So yes the game did suck and I froze my balls off. Yes I did get frustrated with every turnover or stupid penalty, but I had one hell of a time and it's not even over yet.

Yes. ISU fans should support Jack Trice Stadium. Put the money in ISU, not some group of hucksters.

Unfortunately, in a bowl game, there has to be a loser. What makes it more painful was the horrid showing.

Even still, you don't know when that next "big" moment is. The only way to guarantee you experience it is to be there. I'm sure the OP was happy he stayed home and didn't freeze in the stands against OSU last season.
