How many more losing seasons before you lose faith in CPR?
I've not lost faith, however I do wonder how many seasons like this I can take before I will lose faith in the coaching staff. At some point I'm going to need to see improvement (based on w's and bowl games). Currently, I have no problem with what I'm donating and spending to fly back for football games/attend bowl games. However, with each year that passes, I start thinking more and more about if my donation really matters. I'm thinking I can handle a few more years of this, but I'm going to want to see an 8-9 win team eventually. How long do most of you think you can hold faith in CPR before a change needs to be made?

I had nothing to do with this, but I slapped myself for giving it the time of day.

I know 6-7 is technically a losing season but I don't consider it a losing season when you make a bowl game.
I would lose a little faith if the next two years resulted in zero bowl appearances but I don't see that happening considering the recruiting class we're signing this year.
Things are fine, we just gotta get the offense going. The offense probably cost us three games this year.

Enthusiasm is measured by attendance, CPR has attendance at an all time high, enthusiasm will continue with wins. I like his chances to get a break through season in the next 3 years. 6-7 is a whole lot better than 5-7.

I certainly don't see us playing in a bowl game next year. We lose far to much to be a better team than this or last year, coupled with a terribly difficult schedule. What will that do to attendance later in the season next year, and the following? My guess, it's dips significantly.

Eww. Your money just feels dirty now. In a nasty, unclean, skeevy kind of way. You should probably keep it. I donate because I love the Cyclones, win or lose. I don't donate thinking I'm buying a win.

Re: How many more losing seasons before you lose faith in CPR?
While this coaching staff has problems (offense & OL) and a need to learn how to prepare a team for a bowl game this thread is wayyy premature. The recruiting class we are signing this year is great and we will still be 7 or 8 in the Big XII - we have a long way to go to get the talent to win consistently.

We put up with Danny Mac for twelve years, I'd say CPR gets a few more, anyway.
