    Last I heard he was unable to make the trip due to pending academic results. Not sure what became of it

    There were reasons he came here. His injury was one. These types of things are another. Hopefully he pulls it together.

    He was the guy we got from Miami. As I recall, he almost didn't make grades to get in.

    W/out the knee injury and the a ademic issues, he would have been a mid to high 4 star and would be playing for a blue blood. Pompey had a ridiculous stat line against some stellar competition. I have seen tape of him running down and destroying James Wilder in the backfiled during a HS contest.

    ISU accepted the risks. If he fully recovers and gets his academics in order, he could be the biggest steal we have seen on the DL. If he doesn't he was still worth the scholie for ISU just for this type of opportunity.
