When will the spring game be?

Will it be on the Saturday of VEISHEA or the week before like last year?

Rumor has it that Rhoads wants to do something different this year, so the Spring game will be held on the last Saturday of VEISHEA, and instead of football, the players will be separated into teams of 7 and have a kickball tournament instead.

Rumor also has it that it will cost around $10 to get in.

Rules are:

1. Kicking from South to North at the 20 yard line
2. If the ball hits the jumbotron, goes over the Jacobson or the hills, it's an automatic home run.
3. If a player is running and the ball hits them, they are out.
4. 2 foul balls and you're out. Foul balls occur if the ball goes in the stands or behind you

So far, Vegas has the Place Kicker team losing, because not only are they unathletic, but they consistently show they have no accuracy and, despite having great legs, have no chance whatsoever if hitting any space between the Northwest and Northeast hills, and will likely kick foul balls the entire game. Then blame the coach because "they didn't get their three steps back, two steps left" in time.

I'm putting my money on whatever team Sam Richardson is on.

5 weeks until NSD (Feb. 6th), I believe it's always the first Wednesday in February. Just look forward to that date, and then it's only 6 or so weeks until some of the spring practice buzz gets going. In the mean time, just divert attention to the basketball team and watch them kick some some tail. Watch them all the way into the NCAA tournament and then the Spring Game will be here.
