The metal tornado logos on the west side of the press box are awesome. That would be a sweet alternate helmet decal. I can't find a picture but you should know what I'm talking about.

Speaking of bad colors- who approved this as a jersey option?

I think this is cool, but it says "cardinals" or "redbirds," not "cyclones" to anyone who is not already acquainted with Cy.

Hope they got a bargain. . . . It is hard to imagine that a band outfitter couldn't provide a decent cardinal color. And if not, it seems time to find another vendor rather than pick grey. . . . Whenever I see them, I think "military academy."

You can't blame the fans for this. Our Athletic Department feels they need to change our logo every 10-20 years or so. I don't know of many other schools that do this, but in my mind it's an obvious ploy to continually force fans to buy new gear.

just do the old school "walking cy" logo with the I-State logo on his chest.
