Best Cyclone logo of all time is "Dribbling Cy." I'd kill to see us wear throwbacks of these old uniforms:

I don't pay much attention to the uniforms and the visual stuff, but this thread has really made me look at all of that. I am pretty indifferent about the "I-State" symbol, but one thing I think would make it a lot better is if it were only two colors. I dislike the beveling with the two colors of cardinal and especially the pastel yellow color. I think it would look a lot better if it were just cardinal and gold, like clonedude's avatar or the midfield at JTS:



I also think the road set Bu4ISU posted would be cool. I'm a "less is more" person when it comes to aesthetics, and I also think it would be good if we got rid of the stripes altogether on the home jersey (keep them on the pants, though). I think that would make it look less "busy" and less like USC.

I like this "Cy's head in a hurricane" one as the alternate logo that gets used:


For basketball, I think we should do a modernized version of this, which I think of as the "classic" ISU bball look from Fred's playing days:

76-78 is still my favorite. Wish we'd stop changing every few years.

That's a great secondary logo. Unfortunately now we have a beer-bellied "Bucky the Cardinal" logo as our secondary logo.

The following logo has actually grown on me a little, but I think it would have worked a lot better had they used the head from the whirlybird Cy instead of "Bucky the Cardinal".

Bucky Cy annoys me.

I'm less put off by this, which I call "Cy trapped in a toilet bowl," but I prefer both Classic Walking Cy and New Blender-Cy without navy & horrible typeface to either of them.

The metal tornado logos on the west side of the press box are awesome. That would be a sweet alternate helmet decal. I can't find a picture but you should know what I'm talking about.

I'm not the biggest fan of the I-State just because it gets away from what we are, the Cyclones. That being said, it has grown on me and is a great symbol for our football program. I just wish we would utilize a tornado look more somehow. With how unique a cyclone is it would be great to use a tornado logo (whereas there are multiple schools who could call themselves I-State).
