new offensive strategy:
12 guys on the field.
Re: Starting 22 for opener next season...maybe a couple of surprises?
If we start 12 on offense, I think we should make the extra one an offensive lineman.

Woody at FB could cover whoever managed to fail their block the fastest.

He could be the 7th lineman. Let's play it safe here.
Re: Starting 22 for opener next season...maybe a couple of surprises?
I think our 12th offensive man should be solely in charge of encouraging the quarterback while he's on the field and assuring him that he's going to have more than .4 seconds in the pocket.

I think Richardson will staart the year at quarterback.

And holy crap is that a terrible defense on paper.
Yep. If that defense is anything but a sieve Wally will deserve a raise. On paper, with the additions of Wimberly and Bibbs, the offense could be better. However, the offense should have been better than 10 points against Tulsa.
I do think 2014 and 2015 are setting up to be the start of some good years. If we have finally have an offense and a QB by then, we will turn the corner.
Re: Starting 22 for opener next season...maybe a couple of surprises?
I could see Suttles making the 2-3 deep as he seems to have a B12 body at DE already. A good year in Yancy's program and he could be a beast.

Perhaps both will play? depending on opponents receivers heights
I don't think he'll ever be much of a player here due to his speed. Against Oklahoma St. (I think) he got absolutely scoarched on a long TD. I remember being shocked at how slow he was watching him run after a guy for 50 yards and rapidly lose ground. Also he hardly played at all after that game.

I was thinking another Quarterback. You know, chance to double our production
Re: Starting 22 for opener next season...maybe a couple of surprises?
I dont know why everybody is worried about our defense next year. I won the National Championship with them on NCAA, and I had the best defense in the country.

Or that he won't be immediately benched at the first sign of adversity?
