If there was a year where Paul Rhoads proves the theorists like Phil Steele right with a bad record, it's probably next year. Jake Campos is not going to start. Geez, and Jared Brackens? If Schaffer is beating you out for reps you will not start.

He will most likely red shirt. Linemen are the hardest position to develop into a quality player on the team. It could take a couple years before he starts (depending on how good he is and how he is coached). Even most of the top tackles out of high school red shirt their first year. Unless our line is absolutely god awful, he will red shirt.

I suppose that Shawn Curtis has a outside shot since he's an early enrollee, but it is a very outside shot

I think Arceo could be our kicker again, but Netten being better would be welcome. Hopefully Netter at least gets XP duty though... no way he can be worse there.

Re: Starting 22 for opener next season...maybe a couple of surprises?
Put me in the group that would be surprised if Duron Williams contributes at all next year. With his injury I'm guessing he spent a large amount of time rehabbing compared to preparing to play as a RS FR. Give him another year to develop.
And I will assume all the true freshmen redshirt. Our staff has worked hard to allow that to happen.
"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

And who exactly is Matt Watson? There is 0% shot a 260lb Campos is going to be our starting LT. I mean literally no chance in the world.
