Yeah, the most recent 5 seasons for them have ended with:

BCS Bowl
BCS Championship game (win)
Capital One Bowl (49-7 win)
BCS championship game (win)
BCS championship game (looking like itll be a win)

Id say theyve earned a bit of entitlement.

I know a lotta ND fans that are proud of their history and are anxious to become national powers again and all of them knew tonight was a tough row to hoe. That's not entitlement.

I know a lotta Bama fans (unfortunately I have family in Tuscaloosa) that assumes the NC is theirs for the taking. When we put them back in the picture last year, it wasn't a valiant effort by a scrappy underdog. It was the Inevitable Hand of Fate at work.

Notre Dame didn't beat anyone to deserve to be there. Their best wins outside Stanford (12-2) and Oklahoma (11-3) were Michigan (8-5) Michigan State (7-6). That's just sad.

I don't get how they got so dominating so quick after their sanctions. I dislike both these teams but I want this to get closer and rooting for the dogs.........

ND is getting taken to the woodshed. Bama just looks like an NFL team compared to them.
