Hey, you know what...Central Michigan is 1-2 all time against Iowa, but that 1 came last year, so how does that feel for ya?
33% is also approximately Iowa's winning percentage over the last few years against Indiana, Minnesota and Northwestern....before you post stats, I really don't give a s**t, but Iowa loses to Central Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern and Indiana.
4-8. No bowl game.

Coming to ISU as an undergrad makes more sense for most of those categories. But of course most Iowa high schoolers have figured that out. Iowa's undergrad business programs ranked #36 by US News, ISU's ranked #87. Iowa's undergrad creative writing program consistently the top program in the country, ISU's nonexistent. Iowa top 20 pre-med program in the country, ISU's not close. Iowa has a law school and a medical school, ISU doesn't. To say someone who wants to go into these fields is better off going to ISU is just kind of silly.

I agree with you on the writing, but the pre med programs and pre law programs only really matter if you are trying to attend Iowa's graduate school. And if you go to ISU you still get priority to Iowa's med school when applying, I believe.
I don't know anything about business school so I will defer to the rankings or someone who knows better on that.

In other 'who cares' data...Iowa state ranks in the top 5 in the country in the number of manhole covers on campus.
You didn't mention where Central Michigan ranked in these categories.
In the category of good football teams...apparently Central Michigan and Iowa State rank higher than Iowa.
4-8
Losing to Purdue
Losing to Indiana
*Edit: arguing rankings of your school is for those who haven't graduated yet, or those who aren't successful. In either case, your opinion doesn't matter to me.
Brought down Northern Illinois' strength of schedule for bowl selection.

Brought down Northern Illinois' strength of schedule for bowl selection. Yep, congrats. At ISU's best, you're 7-5 and losing Pinstripe Bowls and Liberty Bowls to Conference USA. At Iowa's best, they're winning Orange Bowls and finishing ranked in the top 10. Enjoy it. Hopefully one of these years you'll get to re-live that magical Peach Bowl season of '76.

What bowl game did Iowa win this year?

I don't know anything about business school so I will defer to the rankings or someone who knows better on that. You don't have to major in pre-med to get into med school. ISU is strong in the life sciences.

I guess you don't know what undergrad means. Piersbacher isn't getting an MD or JD for playing football. Where does UIs Aero E program rank? Architecture? See I can play your stupid game too. A blanket rating from US News doesn't make UI better than ISU especially when ISU grads make more money. The argument that UI is better because of the grad schools on their campus is the truly stupid argument.
