    Iowa State University Admission Information

Top 50% of your class gets you in if you are from Iowa, the other options are in a table of the link. From that it doesn't look like ACT matters if top 50%.

To get into most any state school all an athlete needs to do is qualify with the NCAA Clearinghouse.

It works on a sliding scale https://web1.ncaa.org/eligibilitycen..._standards.pdf so the higher your GPA the lower your ACT score can be

I'm not too sore about this. There seems to be some character issues via his tweets. And maybe this can serve as a lesson to him and other recruits who've verballed; even if it is only a cover for bad grades.

According to this article, it was pulled because of the WM visit. I commend coach Rhoads and his staff. You're either in or out. Next on my list would be Suttles. He'd be gone as well. Atlantic DB Brisly Estime, Iowa State part ways | High School Buzz

    Re: Estime Decommits

if i failed the ACT or SAT i probably would be a little self conscious about posting that online and would give another reason for decommiting. who knows what really happened. dont believe everything people post on twitter. we are fine at his position so even if his scholly was pulled for visiting another school, i wouldnt care. suttles on the other hand is a guy we cant really afford to lose. we need help in the pass rush bad!!

You're basing your remark off what an angry kid who just got his scholly pulled says. That may be the reason, but this is the one time I've heard of CPR pulling an offer due to taking additional visits.

How on earth can you not get an 18 or 20 on an ACT? sheesh. Especially since you can retake it or go to a guidance counselor and take a very similar version from years prior to practice beforehand. I know a lot of college athletes aren't so much students anymore, but seriously...I had the flu when I took mine and got a 29.

He'd probably be equally as disgusted by how unathletic you are. Did you really just give a "I got X on mt act and I was sick" story ...... Very nice

The ACT is good for about 5 minutes when you get your results and know you'll get into college. No one (I hope) puts their ACT score on their resume

You have to score a 16 or 17 on ACT?

I k ow you can't judge someone off of a few (or about 30) tweets but he is slamming us. And WMU, UK, and Ark fans are really going after him.

Mad props bro. Spelling and math are 10 times harder when you have the flu.
