How many potential schollies might we still have left to hand out?

Rumor had it that we were pretty close to a full class a few weeks ago.

However, since then, Barnett and Morgan have decided to leave. Estime and Barnes sound they are aren't coming either. And Suttles really sounds like a strong lean to the Fuskers now.

Does that mean we might still have as many as 5 or more left? And if so, what are everyone's guesses on what we'll do with them?

According to Scout.com we are showing a lot of interest with other players who have yet to commit somewhere. Would be nice to pull in another LB or DE. As well as another WR recruit.

I hear from some friends who follow Nebraska, they seem convinced that Suttles is going to be a Husker within the next day or so.

Regarding how many scholarships and what to do with them, don't we have Barnett, Morgan, Estime, Pavlenko, and possibly Suttles/Barnes? I would think we would try to land another DE, LB, and/or WR.

We might well already have three or four LB's committed. I think they're done there for this year.

I'm not sure how many scholarships are in play, but at this point, I'd be just as happy if they held them for early enrollees next January...

I thought we were already over a few weeks ago before they announced people were leaving? I know we didn't have the full 25, but we don't have 25 seniors leaving either.

We're at 84 total right now assuming Barnes decommitts. I'm guessing we will take 2 or 3 more figuring there will be some more attrition in the next 1/2 year.

82 isn't it? We have 21 seniors plus 4 guys leaving (Pavlenko, Daniels, Morgan, Barnett) which should give us room for 25. We have 22 not counting Barnes and Glenn since he is a GS.
