He never was really committed. Seems like he sed ISU as a placeholder while he continued to check other schools out.

If Rick Kaczenski's track record at Iowa may prove, he may end up in Ames after a year or two anyway. Seems as if Iowa had a lot of attrition/turnover on their DL players with Kac as the position coach.
Throw in Pellini's attitude, and it may be a powderkeg with a 'down' year there.
Sucks, but it's part of the game of college football. Is what it is.
