Most teams don't recruit players based on other teams getting commitments from them. What happens is a player commits early then has a good year and more options and makes a different decision. It has little to do with the success of the team the player originally committed to. What it actually shows is that team has a good eye for talent and offered the player before others.

We'll be just fine. The new football facility means a hell of a lot more in terms of recruiting than a bowl loss. Any kid worth his salt believes they're gonna be the one that reverses that trend. So stop the whining.
