Best player in 2013?
The last few years we've had great players like Kelechi Osemele, Leonard Johnson, Jake Knott, A.J. Klein ect. But I don't know if we any guys this year with the same potential as them. If you can think of any tell me.

I guess I forgot about Kirby.Brun was the player I thought would be the best on offense but I don't think he will be exceptionally good or one of the best TE's in the conference.

Re: Best player in 2013?
I could see Deon Broomfield excelling at the linebacker position. He's already got some experience as a linebacker. Once he puts on some mass this year with his speed and skills as a defensive back he could play pretty well. Plus the guy can tackle!

Re: Best player in 2013?
Farniok, George, Watson, Brun would be my guesses right now. Obviously every year you need someone to step up.
Players who I think have a shot to be very good are obviously either Rohach/Richardson, Wimberly, and Jarvis West.
If West could keep his speed through his cuts better, he would be absolutely insane. He makes people miss so much and his cuts are incredible, but he makes a guy miss and there's plenty of time for other defenders to get to him. That's what made Tavon Austin so great, although Austin had incredible top end speed as well that West does not.
"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

I'm going to throw Bundrage out there. He made some good catches this year and if he and the QB can get on the same page during spring ball, he has the ability to put up some big numbers this next year.

Trust me, we have plenty of guys with the same potential as them, one look at a guy like David Irving should tell you that. I think it makes more sense to try to make a point that we don't have any guys coming back next year who are proven studs and well known as future NFL draft picks such as Kelechi, Knott, and Klein.

Re: Best player in 2013?
offense- White, I think they'll run more
defense- George, from all accounts, good work ethic and needs to step up.
ST- KVDK, obvious
Come here to chew bubble gum and kick ***, have I. And all out of bubble gum, I am. -
Re: Best player in 2013?
Maybe not 2013, but look out for Luke Knott in 2014.

ST- KVDK, obvious I don't think I'd put a RB in my offensive best player list without an OL right along side him. Someone on the OL has to step up if a RB has any chance at 2013 offensive MVP.

Re: Best player in 2013?
Hopefully not having any known big time players will make everyone work that much harder to make their own mark. I have like Bundrage since the Texas game when he scored that td, he looked like he belonged in the Big 12 as a receiver. Too many if's on the O-Line to make me confident, would love to be horribly wrong though.
