Helmet design

No, but I just heard online they are getting new uniforms.

I would love some new uniforms and that helmet design is sweet...I always liked that cyclone logo even though it was during a "down" era in ISU football history

Pretty much every era except 2004 and 1895-1920 has been a down era. Whatever we were doing from 1895-1920 worked. Let's have those uniforms :o)

I'm not trying to put down the guys photoshop skills by saying this, It's a nice job, but you do realize that it's pretty much the same design we used in the 80s, only metallic, right? It's not like it's some huge re-invention of the ISU brand.

In the end though, this helmet will never work. I remember how many people on here used to ***** about how our helmet red never matched our jersey red, no way would we ever get our uniforms that metallic sheen to go with the helmets. This would never fly with the fan base.

I am old school . . have been watching ISU football since the early 70s . . . THAT DESIGN is the finest I've ever seen. All of these people saying it won't match anything are art deprived individuals. A little mixing and matching of darker Gold would really be fantastic.

Send this forward to Jamie . . let him cogitate on it.

The I STATE logo can be placed on the back of the Helmet.

that looks cool in that picture, but i feel like the yellow would look really bad in the light of day.

Normally, I see a design and see blah...keep it, change it, I don't care... I must say, however, that helmet design in your avatar did make me notice. I like it.

2004 was a massive dribble down our leg. I will never accept that year as being great.

That helmet is awesome. The Cyclone should be our alternate. Love Cy but I prefer this to the tornado chicken.

It looks bad because it was during the Chizik era.
It looks good because it was the only highlight of the Chizik era.

We should have yellow helmets with two cardinal stripes down the center now. We would be the only Big 12 school with that look.

I completely agree. This is a fantastic design. I would love to see it happen.

Most overwhelmingly positive reaction to a helmet I've seen, I love it.
