Biggest FB 2013 Commit

The biggest commit of 2013 isn't a player, although this class could have some special ones.

It's coach Chris Klenakis, right?

ESPN is showing how the pistol formation has gotten the 49er's to the Super Bowl with the Nevada QB who has probably ran it best to date and ISU just hired a coach who helped design the very formations and plays that define the pistol.

If I'm a current or incoming player, I have to be excited about that hire and what it holds for the offensive future of ISU football.

Got no idea who's the most important 2013 commit, but after watching QB Trevor Hodge's senior highlights (link posted here recently), Trevor looks like a highly intriguing prospect. Huge numbers (2900 yds passing, 66% comp, 31 tds-5 ints; 1300 yds rushing, 10 ypc) with a fine team (14-0, state champions, I think).

To boot, TH operated out of the pistol. Check out the highlights.

It might take a couple years, but once the players and coaches adjust to adding the pistol, this team could really take off.

According to Rivals Rodney Coe weighs the most at 275 pounds. Jake Campos is the tallest at 6'7".

You still have to have the players. Richardson or Roharch (SP) one of the two has to be able to run the pistol and get the reads.

not sure that richardson has the speed to run the pistol effectively. he has wheels sure, but i dont think he is fast enough. he didnt do well in designed running plays for him, but dominated when he had to improvise... not sure about rohach. have only heard good things about his passing ability
