I was just watching premium content on Cyclones.tv, because I put my money where my mouth is, and CPR is speaking directly to a bunch of you adamant "know it alls" and CPR is telling you to STFU verbally and with his body language in regards to the ungrateful FEW in our fan base. I'm a bit on the fence here. On one side, you have idiot posters who apparently know more than a veteran coaching staff who cannot shut their mouths. The other side, you have a kid reading comments about himself that he doesn't like our agree with, so he leaves for Indiana (lol). I'm certainly glad that he came back because I've been hearing some very positive things about him.
I'm not exactly sure what coaches expect. Thcan't talk about these guys so if we don't hear anything about them for 6 months until they sign, then of course there is going to be talk. I am thinking more and more this had to do with the facetious starz/offerz comments being taken seriously instead of joking. I will also say that a recruit really shouldn't care. For one, we don't make the offers. For another, the staff has already given them their faith. I don't know why they need validation from the a fan site. There are fanbases with much more detailed coverage of recruits and it's not all positive. Can you imagine a place like Michigan if they take a 2 star guy? It's way worse and yet i have never heard of this being an issue. I'm also not buying that his switch came 100% from what was said from fans since he visited and then switched.
huge difference between them and us. Michigan has a heck of a lot more to offer than we do. If a recruit is wavering on the Wolverines, they have all kinds of other selling points to refer to. We need all the help we can get. Why would supposed fans of a school want to do anything that might hurt their chances in bringing in a recruit that the coaching staff believes in? It doesn't seem like something a good fan would do.Quote:
