It was never swept under the rug. It was all over the papers and discussed ad nauseum on message boards all over the place. The point is it was almost a decade ago. What good does it do to keep bringing it up? It doesn't do any good.

maybe because most of them have been babied and given everything they have ever wanted since they were in junior high, and have an idea that they 1) are invincible and 2) even if they do get in trouble, somebody will sweep it under the rug because they run fast. Its why University of Texas players don't get drafted into the NFL at an alarming rate anymore, they have been pampered way too much.
