Recruiting staff
The NCAA has announced changes to the recruiting rules allowing more contact by staff members and eliminating many of the minor infractions. Big Ten coaches, ADs object to proposed NCAA recruiting rules - ESPN
I heard on the radio that several of the SEC schools have anywhere from 20 to 40 staff members dedicated to communicating and scouting recruits. Texas has 0. Does anyone know how many CPR may have if any?

Re: Recruiting staff
Wow, you would think rich schools like Texas would have double that of others. With A&M's continued success, UT will actually have to try in the coming years.

Re: Recruiting staff
Will they ask for a higher Cyclone Club contribution to keep up? I will be glad to help so we can be in the running for more like Campos and Lazzard.

Does anyone know how many CPR may have if any? Shane Burnham was telling a few of us at the Gridiron Club signing day event about some of the new rules changes. Shane mentioned that Alabama was adding 9 staff members w/ $60k salaries specifically for recruiting. Seems like the arms race is not slowing down anytime soon with the big budget schools.

"Day after day, situation after situation you do things the right way. If you do things the right way, in life, you are going to be successful. I'm not just your football coach; I'm not just here to win games. I could not be prouder of who we are and who we are becoming, together. You do things right in the classroom, off and on the field; that's whats's makes us Cyclones and that's what our culture's all about."
