Can Reggie Stephens start for Baltimore Ravens in 2013?

Does Reggie have a legitimate shot to start at center for the reigning Super Bowl Champs?

I wonder if John Harbaugh saw this coming when he signed Reggie Stephens just prior to the 2013 Super Bowl run:

Seems like a perfect fit to me right between KO and the guard from UI!

Looks like they are expecting a guy named Gino Gradkowski to fill that spot.
Don't think teams move a player from their practice squad to full time starter very often.

I'm sure he will get a chance to compete for the spot but I doubt he gets it

Guess it'd be tough to beat out a lineman who's name ends in "ski"! But hopefully they will give Reggie a good look. He did have some starts at Cincy, so brings experience.

FYI, the Vikings signed Mattie Birk from their PS back in the day, so it has happened. Seems like the use of the PS has changed since the 90s, though, when it was more for long term development. Nowadays, they look to be used for more temporary needs.

He might be able to win the starting job but I doubt he will start in week one. If he can impress the coaches and get moved to the 2 deeps it might just take a bad week from the starter for him to get a chance. All anyone can ask is for that chance and then anything can happen.
